Notes:

This RootsWeb entry cites a list of Wayne Co KY marriages in the DAR Library that says John II McHenry married Lithy Lefever. That is wrong, though. Instead this John seems to have died before 1850.

Most RootsWeb entries say the John McHenry who married Lithy Lefever was son of William McHenry and Sarah Moody.
Census entries consistently show the John McHenry who married Telitha to have been born about 1817, which means he would be William's son John, not this one. Most telling is that on the 1850 census a
Spencer McHenry is living with John and Telitha. William had a son Spencer, but John + Margaret did not.
