Notes:

Warning: I am guessing Matthew + Louise were the parents of the Lottie Motley who married Eugene Conner.
On the 1900 census Gene + Lottie are two pages from Matthew. Matthew's wife has had 9 children,
with 5 still living. Three of those are with them, and James is somewhere but still alive. Lana died in 1889,
so they had one more child still alive. Comparing all the Motley families in Allen Co on the 1880 and 1900
censuses shows no other possible parents for Lottie. What I have not done is compare all the
unmarried Motley men on the 1880 census to their 1900 entries. There could be someone who married
right after the 1880 census, had a daughter Lottie, then died. But given that Matthew did have one
additional child, and Lottie is so close to him on the 1900 census, I think she must be his daughter.

However, I am now sure that Willie was also their daughter. which means that either Lottie is not their
daughter, or James died before 1900. I forget where I got the 1918 death date for James, but I don't
see him anywhere on the 1900 or 1910 censuses. For now I'm going to assume James died before
1900, and that Lottie is Matthew's daughter.
