*Richard Collins b. 1725-00-00

Notes:

born 1676? somewhere between 1687 and 1707? in King and Queen Co?
--
I found a book called "The Collins Family" by William H Collins. Unfortunately, it does not have my Collins line.
--
This RootsWeb entry shows him with two wives, (unknown) Joyeux and c1739 Elizabeth Barbee. Elizabeth is the second wife. Sons Richard and Joyeux are from the first wife. It gives his birthdate as 1707, which means son Richard must have been born after 1722 as I currently have. It shows Richard born between 1725 and 1731.
Thomas' father Joseph is shown born between 1667 and 1685 in K&Q Co VA, married 1705 Catherine Robinson 1690. Catherine is d/o John Robinson and Ann Holiday. Ann Holiday is d/o William Holiday.
--
I'm starting to wonder if there's a generation missing here. Combing through tons of web pages, it looks like this might be a possibility:
Richard 1725
Thomas 1707 + Elizabeth
Joseph 1685 + Catherine
Joseph 1667 + a different Catherine
John 1641 + Eleanor
William 1615 + Ann

Since Joseph, Thomas, and William were used in pretty much every branch of the family, it's hard to tell who is really who.
