John Cottrell, planter, of Baltimore Co, MD very sick and weak in body but of
perfect mind and memory..
Item: Give plantation where I now live called 'Cottrells Purchase' 100 acres, be
as equally divided between dear wife Elizabeth Cottrell and daughter Isabella
Cottrell..wife to have first choice and after her decease to be my daughter
Sarah Cottrell and her heirs..
Item: Give to daughter Isabella Cottrell when she becomes of age of 16 years
50 acres of land of the plantation called 'Cottrell's Purchase' after my wife
Elizabeth has made her choice?
Item: Give to my daughter Elizabeth Cottrell alias Elizabeth Perkins wife of
William Perkins 20 shillings?
Item: Give to daughter Margaret Cottrell alias Margaret England wife of
Joseph England 20 shillings?
Item: All personal estate after debts are paid be divided equally between
daughters Isabella Cottrell and Sarah Cottrell when they come of age 16 years?
