250 acres on the head of a creek called Gayther's Creek, being a branch of the southern branch of Elizabeth River.
Beginning at a marked red (?) Oak standing on the southward side of said Gaythers Creek and running
for breadth (?) south by west one hundred poles to the Land of Thomas Marsh unto a marked Pine and
so east by south three hundred and twenty poles unto a marked Hickory (?) and so north by east one
hundred poles unto a marked pine and so west by south three hundred and twenty poles unto a marked
pochickory (?) crossing certain branches of Gather's Creek unto the fist mentioned marked tree
and fifty acres the residue bounded from his marked trees starting by a runs (?) and bounding easterly
to Thomas Alexander's line, and southerly bounding between their two lines.
