One source says she died in Fentress Co TN.

It looks like Nancy married Archibald right before the rest of her family moved to Arkansas. Since her first 3 children are born in Tennessee, it looks like she did not move in 1831 with them. However, her later children are born in Arkansas, Missouri, and Kentucky, so apparently the Evans family did move out later.

Something is wrong with this list of children. Surely they did not have two children named James and two named Mary. I wonder if there was another Archibald Evans, maybe son of Archibald and Nancy. Since the second James and Mary were born in 1856 and 1859, they could be from an Archibald born in the 1830s. There are gaps in the children I show for Archibald and Nancy in that time period where he could fit.

The 1870 census shows a James Rackley age 14 living with Archibald. He may be the James age 4 in the 1860 census.
